AARTO Alerts
These traffic laws alerts are designed to facilitate uncomplicated awareness information for all staff on a monthly basis. Alerts are a cost-effective solution in a complex environment. Alerts come in the form of a PowerPoint CD/DVD presentation that is printable and custom designed with your brand. The AARTO Alerts CD will assist you with your AARTO Awareness campaign. There are 16 alerts covering a different aspect of AARTO – each or all can be attached to payslips or used for Toolbox Talks. Follow our alerts and avoid receiving the dreaded enforcement letter.
If you have failed to act in accordance with your letter of courtesy (a ‘friendly’ reminder that you will unbelievably, be billed for) or have not shown up for your court appearance (either for a traffic offence or for being elected by a third party as their representation) then a registered mail containing your Enforcement Order will be delivered to you, and you will automatically receive any demerit points that you have either unfairly or fairly acquired. You can receive simultaneous notifications such as: any number of demerit points recorded and collected on your name, total accumulated demerit points (to-date), as well as the number of points left before your licence will be suspended or cancelled.
If an Enforcement Order has been served to you, then you will be required to pay the full penalty fee as well as penalties for late payment. This includes the courtesy letters fee as well as many other hidden costs. All of these fees must be paid within 32 days upon receipt of letter. The order will also state that a warrant of execution will be issued in the case of your non-payment lapses beyond 32 days. This warrant will require full payment of the all fees and penalties incurred.
You will not be able to be issued with a vehicle licensing disc, a professional driving permit or a driver’s licence until you have paid the added fees and penalty in full or the Enforcement Order has been revoked. The order can only be revoked if an application to the RTIA is made (and they are duly satisfied with your application). Once it has been revoked, NaTIS will be updated with the cancellation and all driving licenses or permits will be returned to you once more.
